Favorite Part of Duluth: The Lake, Western Waterfront Walkway (St. Louis River), our libraries, the Lake Walk, Park Point, Skyline, UMD and St. Scholastica, Beaners, Superior Hiking Trail, and Downtown.
Most important issues you care about: Positive ‘can do’ attitude, Good paying jobs with health care, Libraries open evenings and week-ends, City government that is coordinated and works to meet it’s citizens needs in a efficient, effective and cheerful manner, Lake Superior and all our streams and rivers and keeping a clean and healthy environment, our children – having safe and enjoyable places for them to live and play – lots of neighborhood parks throughout the city.
Why you are voting for Don: He is knowledgeable, experienced, intelligent and hard working. He loves Duluth and continuously strives to make it a better place to live. While I haven’t agreed with all of his votes while he’s been on the City Council, he has always done what he believes to be best for Duluth in the long run. He is thoughtful and studies the issues and gets input from a variety of people. I also like that he has a young family and he and Laura will both work to create a Duluth so that their children, and all of Duluth’s young people, will be able to have a good paying job and a high quality of life.
